Mystery, or Erik Von Markovik, is another one of those guys with nothing more than a marketing thing going on. Overall he is not a scam. However, his technique for meeting and picking up women while workable isn't the best. If your aim in life is to be a pick up artist, then mystery can definitely assist you to achieve that.
However, you may not like the man that you become, or the ladies you end up with. In case your goal in life is to meet a nice woman and get a girlfriend then consider Mr. L. Rx's technique or David DeAngelo's system, you will be a lot better off with them.
Taken on its own, I won't recommend it for the average guy. The techniques that are given right here, definitely work, but they would only work on a narrow band of what I would label shallow ladies.
And when you use the techniques on their own (without the more sophisticated understanding of ladies put forth in "Dating To Relating" and "Double Your Dating"), you yourself become rather shallow. And lots of guys won't be able to (or will not want to) use the techniques for that reason.
If you simply wish to be a pick up artist, then Mystery' system will work, though you will most likely find that Mr. L. Rx's system works for PUA's even better and that you might find yourself with the kind of a woman you want when you go with Mr. L. Rx's system.
